The Development Perspective Pont tot Park in IJmuiden has been received with great enthusiasm and adopted by the Council of the Gemeente Velsen.
BURA has been working on the assignment in the center area of IJmuiden since 2022 on behalf of the municipality of Velsen, Woningbedrijf Velsen, AM Gebiedsontwikkeling and renovation specialist Hemubo.
In collaboration with Marlies van Diest, we have translated the ambitions and goals of IJmuiden into an attractive story for the city, including a robust and future-proof framework.
The Development Perspective strategically responds to the opportunities and dynamics in the various living environments. Insights from participation with residents and stakeholders in the area have been an important part of the process.
In this way, we are building a sustainable urban future for Pont tot Park.
