Christmas at BURA

Feeling happy is very important, but Team BURA finds it even more important to make someone else happy.

Do you still enjoy that can of candied cherries or an even more boring Christmas gift? Precisely! That is why we have decided to approach ‘Christmas at BURA’ a little different, and not give something to you, but to give something back to society.

On Friday, December 15, 2023, BURA picked De Verbroerderij, a great green city farm in Amsterdam-Noord, and helped them to rebuild their vegetable garden and to get rid of their weeds. We also helped them repair the garden house and finally we cuddled and played football with their gigantic pigs Rosita and Barry.

By the end of 2024 we again will choose an organization that can use our voluntary hands.
