BURA TALKS with Strootman Landscape Architects

Last week, Strootman Landschapsarchitecten visited BURA during the fourth BURA TALKS of 2024. The evening was dedicated to one of our areas of expertise: ‘Resilient Landscapes’.

The team of Strootman Landscape Architects presented four projects that were very different in scale. Starting with the study ‘The Netherlands Veganland?’, presented by Berno Strootman, then the development perspective for the eastern flank of Tilburg and two concrete implementation projects. Afterwards, we were able to have inspiring conversations, and talk about BURA’s Almere Pampus project, among other things.

We were impressed by the study Nederland Veganland, which gives a hopeful perspective on the design of the Dutch landscape and the agricultural area.  The other projects showed that Strootman’s landscape architects work with a lot of passion and craftsmanship on “resilient landscapes”. We also look forward to continuing our collaboration in projects such as Hembrug Zaandam
