BURA selected for Haveland Masterplan in Rheden

BURA and Stadkwadraat have been selected by the municipality of Rheden to develop a Master Plan for the Haveland industrial estate Rheden. The Master Plan
examines how Haveland can transform from a monofunctional industrial area into a sustainable and future-proof mixed work/residential area (housing development after 2030). The Master Plan will include several ambitions of the municipality of Rheden. Including a strong and circular economy, heritage conservation, housing
development, flex-living, sustainable mobility, strengthening of the landscape, climate adaptation and the energy transition. Haveland is located next to the stationand the center of Rheden. There are great opportunities for the area to get more connected to the surrounding landscape and thus adding a unique district, fitting with the size and scale of Rheden.
The aim of the Master Plan is to get a good idea of it desired future of Haveland, through the development of different scenarios. We are working towards an adaptive plan, which can develop over time, in which the ambitions and concerns of the various stakeholders are considered. The Master Plan is being developed in close collaboration cooperation with the municipality, landowners and residents in and around Haveland. For this project BURA will collaborate with Stadkwadraat (feasability and development strategy). The Master plan will be developed in the period May to September 2024.
