Metro MIX
The College of Government Advisors (CRa, College van Rijksadviseurs) selected the team of BURA (formerly known as marco.broekman) and Stadkwadraat to develop a set of ‘guiding principles’ for mixed-use transformation locations. The REOS-program team asked the CRa to advice them on the question of high-dense mixed-use urban development.
In this process the Dutch government and the five largest Dutch cities are collaborating with the College van Rijksadviseurs and a team of national and international experts to bring together the newest insights and best (inter)national practices. The results will be published in a studie, focussing on the REOS-transformation locations (Ruimtelijk-Economische Ontwikkelstrategie) in the five largest Dutch cities:
- Amsterdam Zaan-IJ Corridor
- Utrecht Merwedekanaalzone
- Eindhoven Stationsomgeving / Fellenoord
- Den Haag CID / Binckhorst
- Rotterdam Makers District
Next to this studie BURA (formerly known as marco.broekman) is involved in the processes of various of these transformations. Please take a look at some of our project pages:
