Zaanstad is a growing municipality. The ambitions for urban densification are closely related to the challenges for mobility. In collaboration with Goudappel Coffeng, BURA (formerly known as marco.broekman) contributed to the koersnota Mobiliteitsplan. In creative workshops with the Municipality Gemeente Zaanstad the guidelines and ambitions for mobility and densification were defined in relation to the spatial quality in the entire region. BURA (formerly known as marco.broekman) used their experience in urban densification and strength to visualize and enhance the vision (Koersnota).​
